I want to encourage you to take some time and pray about sponsoring a child.  I have done this through Compassion, Mission of Mercy and a small private operation and my experience has been so rewarding and fullfilling.  I have loved getting to know these precious children that God has brought into my life.  I am not sure who is more blessed.  me or these wonderful little lives.  There are many different ways to sponsor children.  I have just mentioned a few.  If you have another way to do so–Go for it!  It might be right in your neighborhood.  Reach out and touch a life.

Some ideas:  Read to kids at the library, be a mentor in your local schools, get involved in your church, read or visit the elderly (our country is so spread out and families live farther apart), and better yet, Pray about it and be available to the Lord.
